The "New Wheels of Change" project aims to address the challenges and opportunities presented by the rapidly changing and digitalized times we live in. Focused on three main priorities, the project seeks to support teachers, school leaders, and other teaching professionals in their efforts to foster sustainable urban mobility, cycling, and road safety education among pupils. With a particular emphasis on the rising trend of cycling due to the COVID-19 situation and the increasing demand for green transport solutions, the project aims to empower teachers with innovative and interactive digital curriculums and training courses.

The first priority revolves around supporting teachers in promoting and integrating digital packages with game-based and interactive curriculums for pupils, parents, and themselves. These curriculums will impart knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to sustainable urban mobility, cycling, and road safety. By equipping teachers with the necessary tools and resources, the project endeavors to create a sustainable education ecosystem that emphasizes environmentally friendly modes of transportation and promotes road safety awareness among pupils.

The second priority focuses on addressing climate change through the promotion of cycling as a green transport mode. Cycling offers numerous advantages, such as reducing air pollution and congestion and promoting physical well-being. Therefore, the project aims to provide teachers with the knowledge and skills to integrate cycling education into schools, fostering a culture of environmentally responsible behavior among pupils and the broader community.

The third priority centers on addressing the challenges of digital transformation in education. The project recognizes the need for schools to adapt their teaching methods, especially in the face of online lessons and topics that traditionally require physical presence. By developing innovative and digitally designed curriculums, the project seeks to empower teachers to navigate the evolving educational landscape while promoting the benefits of cycling and sustainable urban mobility.

In summary, the "New Wheels of Change" project aims to create an innovative educational approach that leverages digital technologies to foster sustainable urban mobility, cycling, and road safety education in schools. By empowering teachers with the necessary knowledge and skills, the project envisions a future where cycling is embraced as a green and healthy transport mode, contributing to environmental protection, healthier lifestyles, and the overall well-being of pupils and communities.
